Love this J Crew top, which turns something simple (a green blouse) into something a little cooler simply by adding the Trompe L’Oeil necklace – actually part of the top’s design.
But if you like the idea, there are lots of these collar – or bib – necklaces around.
They add a masculine edginess to a plain crew neck jumper or tee-shirt, which makes them the perfect accessory for a simple outfit.
Just make sure the necklace sits as a collar would – i.e, don’t wear anything with a low-neckline – for maximum impact.
